Introduction to modeling of mechatronic systems with CAMeL-View

This seminar focuses on computer-aided modeling of mechatronic systems with CAMeL-View.

In the present age of information, information processing is becoming increasingly important in the field of technology. The interaction of mechanics, electronics, and computer science creates the products of the new millennium in the field of mechatronics. Systematic computerized procedures are imperative in order to further advance the development of mechatronic systems quickly and economically.

The seminar is focused on computer-aided modeling of mechatronic systems with CAMeL-View. Because CAMeL-View creates the link between the domains of mechanics, electronics, and computer science, the CAMeL-View design tool is able to support, speed up, and simplify the development process. The systematic approach to the development of modular-hierarchical models is shown for modeling. In addition, existing 3D geometries (e.g. from 3D CAD systems) are incorporated, with which the kinematics of the mechanical components are clearly visualized.
